It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rowena Jeanne Lautzenheiser (Jackson, Michigan), who passed away on January 11, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eddie McAlvey and Eulah McAlvey (Welch); and her brother LaMont McAlvey. She is survived by: her husband Ken; her children, Dennis Lautzenheiser (Vicki) of Jackson, MI and Laurene Homsher (Carl) of Fremont, MI.; and her great grandchildren, Andrea Homsher-Cox Cox (Michael), Kendryk of Muskegon, MI, Dr. Caryn Ritosa (Marcus), Rosalie, Thomas, Dominic of Colorado, Matt Oppenheim (Michelle), Ella, Ava of Grand Ledge, MI, Dr. Josh Oppenheim (Julie) and Noah of Kansas.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Somerset Center United Methodist Church or the Lions of Michigan Foundation – Scholarship.
