He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Schisler and Pearl Schisler (Johnston); and his brother Earl Roger Schisler Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Linda Schisler; his daughter Joy Otto (Mike); his granddaughters, Paige and Piper; and his close friend Jim Satterelli.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church.
