He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Goldsmith and Marion Goldsmith (Bohne); his stepparents, Ladora Goldsmith and Leon Myers; and his siblings, Patricia Hill, Don Goldsmith and Tommy Goldsmith.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Goldsmith (Adams); his daughters, Lisa Haynes (Brian) and Terri Jo Nichols (Irv); his grandchildren, Brett Haynes (Kenzi), Jake Nichols (Kenzie), Teagan Haynes (Jaden Thelan) and Kaylee Nichols; his great grandchild Tate Nichols; his sister Linda Hutchins (Phil); and his friend Amanda "Berger" Rainsberger.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hampton Funeral Homes - Jackson (4204 Ann Arbor Rd, Jackson, MI 49202). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Family Is Hosting An Open House.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Haynes Memorial Scholarship, Michigan Center Athletics or Michigan Center Schools Library, or to a charity of your choice.
