Hawkins (Laura) and Jacqueline Willis (Phil); his grandchildren, Russell Hawkins (Toina), Thomas Hawkins III (Heather), Amy Bortell (Peter), Matthew Hawkins (Katie), Daniel M. Hawkins (Kelsey) and Samuel Willis; and his sisters, Wendy Brockie (Dale), Mary Jacobs, Margie Whitefield Harris (Steve) and Patricia Weibel. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
