He is survived by: his nieces, Kathleen VanDam (Edward) of Chicago, Suzanne Treciak of Ann Arbor and Constance Greene (John) of Chicago; and his great-nieces, Caroline Patricia VanDam of Chicago and Kate Carole Greene of Chicago.
