She was predeceased by: her father Oliver Whitaker; and her grandmother Rosella "Bonnie" Godin. She is survived by: her mother Sandra June LeBaron (Cady); her husband Tim; her children, Jeffrey Burgett of Roscommon, MI and Crystal Abbott (Cody) of Hudson, MI; her stepchildren, Amanda of Jackson, MI and Ben Buehler of Jackson, MI; her grandchildren, Christopher, Brianna, Aiden, Dylan and Elissa; and her siblings, Tracy Proffitt (Rick) of Adrian, MI and Thomas Whitaker (Joel) of Napoleon, MI. She is also survived by three dogs and six cats.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Handler Funeral Home-Tecumseh Chapel (313 W Pottawatamie St, Tecumseh, MI 49286).
