She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Saucedo and Elvira Saucedo (Alcala); her sisters, Mary Bailey, Vera Saucedo and Angelita Saucedo; and her daughter Maria Reyes Velasco.

She is survived by: her siblings, Diane Moreno, Natalie Sauceda (Manuel), Alinda Pritchard, Frank Saucedo Jr. (Theresa) and Margarita Dominguez; and her children, Mary Nela Collins, Jane Murray (Lane), Angelita Velasco Gunn, Sarah Vainner (John), Gregorio Velasco (Nicki), Ernest Velasco Jr. and Lanni Trinidad Velasco-Cook. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
