He is survived by: his wife Judith; his children, Ramona Stockton (Charles), Rebecca Udzik, Rachel Vasquez (James) and Virgil Udzik (Laura); his grandchildren, Ashley, Jaimie, Meghan, Courtenay, Caitlin, Andrew, Zoey and Cody; his great grandchildren, Sydnei, Tessah, Liam, Dayton, Caidance, Colton, Charlotte, Corrina, Julyan, Aaren, Kahtrell, Seth and Micah; Walter Sr..

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. John the Evangelist Parish or the Aware Shelter in Jackson.
