Wanetta J. Underhill Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wanetta J. Underhill of Jackson, Michigan, born in Salyersville, Kentucky, who passed away on June 30, 2022 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Marion and Effie Mae Neeley. She is survived by: her husband George F. Underhill Jr.; and her children, Shirley L. Walter (Jack), Michael D. Griffes (Debra), John F. Jones (Gayle), Lori A. Snow and David C. "Chris" Jones. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, and fifteen greatgrandchildren, her two brothers and three sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The recent pandemic led her to twice-a-week Zoom sessions with the family where her humor, caring, encouragement, and counsel were liberally shared.
