He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Burton and Williamina Burton; his wife Elizabeth; and his in-law Alexander. He is survived by: his sons, Richard Burton (Jill) of Ann Arbor, Paul Burton (Alisa) of Onsted and Mark Burton (Kristen) of Michigan Center; his grandchildren, Brandon Burton, Nathan Moyer, Rachael Melton, Paul and Benjamin Burton; and his brother Robert Burton of Scotland. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
