William Rex Wilkinson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Rex Wilkinson of Jackson, Michigan, who passed away on June 3, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Wilkinson and Mildred Higby Wilkinson; and his siblings, Jack, Ron, Don Wilkinson, Diane Machnik and Elaine Happle.
He is survived by: his wife Carole J. Johnson Wilkinson; his son Brent Wilkinson (Stacy); his stepchildren, Miller Lite, William Penn (Francine), Randolph Penn (Ruth), Rick Penn (Maureen), Bruce Penn (Philippa Malone) and Wendy Christie; his great grandchildren, Olivia VanderPloeg, Vivian, Lincoln VanderPloeg, Maizie Long and Augustus Papiersky; and the mother of his children Marcia Wilkinson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
Bill and his siblings were all afflicted with this form of Muscular Dystrophy and the family wishes for donations to be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association in his memory in lieu of flowers.
