He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Schut and Minnie Schut (Vruggink); his wife Marilyn Jean Schut; his son-in-law Terry Pyle; his great grandchild Hudson Vugteveen; and his siblings, Mabel, Edna, Russ, Duane and Norl.
He is survived by: his children, Gloria Pyle, Terry, Ann Schut, Arlen and Ruth Schut; his great grandchildren, Mitchell Pyle, Chad Pyle (Sarah Holland), Kurt, Charlene Pyle, Jennifer, Ryan Vugteveen, Jeanna, Jason Gyorki, Jill, Scott Snyder, Christina, Ryan Sykes, Maggie, Brandon Phillips and Nate Schut; his brother Hoyt Schut; and his sister-in-law Betty Schut.
