He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Quant and Hazel Quant Sr.; his son Scott Quant; and his sisters, Virgina Wisswell, Emily Quant and Helen Salazer.

He is survived by: his children, Howard "Joe" Quant (Leslie), Kim Goyette and Debbie Bodeis (Phil); his girlfriend Kathy Abate; his girlfriend's daughters, Kathy Ward and Maria Poichonski; his daughter-in-law Elizabeth Quant; his niece Judy Ellis (Don); and his nephew Jason Pelc (Katerina). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
