He is survived by: his wife Carol Koetje; his siblings, Marge VanSteenis (Jay), Til Herweyer (Rich), Kaye Boelema (Ed), Joan Sikkema (Jay), Clarence Koetje (Eleanor), Carl Koetje (Jean) and Rich Koetje; his children, Sue Tacoma (Tim), Jim Koetje (Lisa) and Kathy VanKalker; his grandchildren, Ben Tacoma (Hananiah), Tom Tacoma (Ashley), Alex Tacoma (Emily), Alan Koetje (Dana), Anna Conrad (Aubrey), Curtis Koetje (Anya), Isaak VanKalker and Ashlee VanKalker; and his sister-in-law Judy Koetje. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and friends.
