It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty June Blackport of Jenison, Michigan, who passed away on April 3, 2026, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jack Blackport; her parents, Harry Putten and Hazel Van Putten; her in-laws, John and Nellie Blackport; her siblings, Donna Robertson and David Van Putten; her siblings-in-law, Gloria Van Putten and Thomas Van Putten; and her son-in-law David Herrmann.
She is survived by: her daughter Susan Verburg (Steve); her grandchildren, Sara Miller (Jason) and Brett Herrmann; her great grandchildren, Marysa Fisher (Adam), Samantha Miller (Jacob Carlson), Kyla Herrmann and Brian Herrmann; her great great grandchildren, Melody and Maverick Fisher; and her siblings-in-law, Phillip Blackport (Wendy) and Sandie Leech (Frank). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
