She was predeceased by: her brothers, Elmo, Roger, Ralph and Rodney Pennington; and her former husband Fritz Kolk.
She is survived by: her children, Jeff (Sandi Kolk), Jami (Randy Beek), Kris (Ren VandeGuchte), Mark (Kristi Kolk) and Robin (Greg Kerkstra); her brother Bill Pennington; and her sisters-in-law, Sara Block (Paul), Lisa VanSomeren and Janet Kolk. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
