It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eva De Ruiter of Jenison, Michigan, who passed away on July 6, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid Eva De farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Eva De is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John and Cornelia; and her sister Sandy De Ruiter. She is survived by: her son Jason De Ruiter; and her sisters, Rita (Russ Brandt) and Lou (Bob Stelma). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (4145 Chicago Dr SW, Grandville, MI 49418). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
