He was predeceased by: his former wife Karen Conklin; and his parents, Fred Conklin and Haloise Conklin. He is survived by: his wife Linda Conklin; his children, Heather, Tom Sandberg and Clint Conklin; his stepchildren, Emma Halstead and Michael Reed; his grandchildren, Drew, Haley Sandberg, Austin, Nikoma Conklin, Ty and Hanna Conklin; and his sisters, Deanna Swoveland and Cleo Conklin.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the VanderLaan Funeral Home (4917 32nd Ave, Hudsonville, MI 49426). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
