He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Long and Agnes Long; and his siblings, Tony Long, Marilyn Taylor, Mary Long and Lorraine Bloye.
He is survived by: his sister Patricia VanderWal; his children, Robert Long (Frances), Edward Long (Marilynn) and JoAnn Piccione (Giuseppe) of Thomas; his grandchildren, Alicia Zak (James), Keith Long (Stephanie), John Long (Heather), Steven Long, Nick Long (Cheryl), Gina Bodziak, Karmen Piccione, Rosemary Laskovy (Andrew), Giuseppe Piccione (Clara), Thomas Jr., Anthony Frederick Long, Jordan Sagorski (Kara) and Elaina Robida (Taylor); and his great grandchildren, Jameson, Jane Marie, Ella Grace, Landon, Collin, Jake, Derick, Nathan, Garret, Harrison, Alycea, Vincent, Andrew, Lyanna, Ava Marie, Audriana and Brayden. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
