We are sad to announce that on May 11, 2025, at the age of 86, Helen Hoekstra of Jenison, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Helen may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ralph; her children, Nancy Hozee-Bertram and James Hoekstra; and her granddaughter Annalise DeYoung. She is survived by: her children, Connie (Bryan West), Barb (Randall DeYoung), Joel (Shari Hoekstra) and Beth (Gary Jennings). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
