James George Wilkerson Sr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James George Wilkerson Sr. of Jenison, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 30, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Wilkerson and Bertha Wilkerson; his wife Joan Wilkerson; his daughter Susan Ulberg; and his siblings, Ken, Jack and Carolyn.
He is survived by: his siblings, Dan (Joyce), Mae and Cindy; his sons, James Wilkerson Jr. (Linda) and Jeffrey Wilkerson (Kerrie); his son-in-law Mike Ulberg; and his grandchildren, Kristin Jost (Scott), Bradley Wilkerson (Allise), Aaron Gardner and Nick Ulberg (Brittney). He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Redeemer Parish (2700 Baldwin St, Jenison, MI 49428). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials contribution can be made to the Corewell Health Foundation West Michigan - Meijer Heart Center.
