Jerry Essenburg Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 4, 2025, at the age of 83, Jerry Essenburg of Jenison, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son-in-law Curt Timmerman; and his brother-in-law Ken Haveman. He is survived by: his wife Carol Essenburg; his children, Douglas Essenburg, Joy Timmerman, Julie and David Miedema; his great grandchildren, Ashley and John Hanrahan; his grandchildren, Richard, Cobie Miedema (Rory), Mitchell, Anna Miedema and Trenton Miedema; and his siblings, Ruth, Jim Sikkema, Arlyn, Bev Essenburg and Isla Haveman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Baldwin St. Christian Reformed Church (2101 Baldwin St, Jenison, MI 49428).
