She was predeceased by: her son Bruce VanDyke; her parents, John Huizinga and Marjory Huizinga; her sisters, Mary Fuller and LaVonne Workman; and her stepson Dan Malfroid.

She is survived by: her close friend Larry Malfroid; her children, Margo Solomon, Beth VanDyke (Chuck), Michelle Bouman and Brian VanDyke; and her stepchildren, Amy Wirtz (Dave), Rebecca Kenney (Robert), Sheri Patterson (Mike) and Chris Malfroid. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
