He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Vredevoogd; his son Glenn Vredevoogd; his granddaughter Jessica Vredevoogd; his siblings, Sylvia Vredevoogd, Evelyn Loeks, Nick Vredevoogd and Louise VanDyken; and his sister-in-law Anne Engels.
He is survived by: his children, Trish, Russ Brummel, Laurie, Jim VanWyk, Carol and Tom Sinke; his sister Carrie (Steve Herrema); and his siblings-in-law, Ed (Victoria Lotterman) and Mary Bren. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (4145 Chicago Dr SW, Grandville, MI 49418). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
