She was predeceased by: her parents, Abel Bos and Florence Bos; her husband Joseph Folkerts, Jr.; her children, Rose Iwema and Joseph Folkerts III; her siblings, Alice Stob and Ken Bos; and her siblings-in-law, Al Stob, Ellerd Folkerts, Jack Folkerts and Florence Folkerts.
She is survived by: her daughter Judy (Richard Reyenga); her son-in-law Fred Iwema; and her sisters-in-law, Theresa Folkerts and Paula Bos. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (4145 Chicago Dr SW, Grandville, MI 49418). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
