With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marian Piers in Jenison, Michigan, who passed away on August 4, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Titus Helmholdt and Adrianna Helmholdt; her husband Eugene; and her sisters, Betty and Mildred.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jill Piers (Ira Socol) and Sharon Dys (Bruce); her grandchildren, Whitney Bareng (Keone) and Spencer Higgs (Tara); her great grandchildren, Aiden, Parker and Sophia; and her siblings, Don Helmholdt (Fran), Floyd Helmholdt (Jane) and Carol Dykstra.
Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Rosewood Reformed Church Youth Groups.
