She was predeceased by : her parents, Gerald Doornbos and Marilyn Doornbos. She is survived by : her husband Dennis "Dan" Nevins; her children, Jennifer, Joel Keegstra, Steve Nevins, Tom and Tammy Nevins; her grandchildren, Kyle, Alex Keegstra, Carter and Cooper Nevins; her siblings, Mike (Lori Doornbos), Denny (Helen Doornbos), Jim (Debbie Doornbos), Linda Doornbos and Mary (Alan Coscarelli); and her siblings-in-law, Renee, Pat Fortney, Don Rozema, Tammi Turner, Terri and Dan Gard. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Lack's Cancer Center.

Sadness at death is the direct result and measure of joy her life provided all of us.
