She was predeceased by: her husband Roger; her sister Yvonne; and her siblings-in-law, Bill Groenendyk, Jay, Gesena Groenendyk and Bert Bakhuyzen.
She is survived by: her children, Randy (Betsy Groendyk), Steve (Diana Groenendyk), Cheri (Ron Smit) and Todd (Lisa Groenendyk); her grandchildren, David Groendyk (Anaite), Sara Bakker (Jordan) and Kristin Alyousif (Abdullah); her children, Nick Smit (Lisa), Cody Smit (Jennifer), Eric Smit, Ethan, Meghan, Madalyn and Lily Groenendyk; her great grandchildren, Elliott, Joaquin, Sofia, Mila, Ada, Raelynn, Reed and Jaxtyn; her sister Ruth; her brother-in-law George Fennema; her sister Lavonne Bakhuyzen; and her siblings-in-law, Ann Groenendyk, Ron and Char Groenendyk.
