Nelson Miedema Obituary

It is with sadness that the passing of Nelson Miedema (Jenison, Michigan) is shared. Nelson, born on February 17, 1942, passed away on July 25, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Miedema and Jennie Miedema; his siblings, Roger, Marilyn Miedema, Ron Miedema and Mike Miedema; and his sister-in-law Helaine Miedema.

He is survived by: his wife Karen; his daughter Jenna Robison; his grandchildren, Benjamin Miedema, Alexandra Sookram, Dillan Robison and Devin Robison; his siblings, Dale Miedema, Marcia Palmbos Hamming, Bud (Robin Miedema), Randy (Linley Miedema) and Ken (Lis Miedema); and his siblings-in-law, Mitzi Miedema, Arloa Miedema, Jan DeJong, Jim, Joy Jonker, John, Elaine Jonker, Lani and Dick Von Tersch. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
