He is survived by: his wife Barbara Nicholson (DeClark); his son William Alan; his son-in-law Lee Winter (Kristin); his grandchildren, Kelly, Amanda, Daniel and Kathleen; his great grandchildren, Amiya, Thomas, Collin and Alaina; his brothers, Allen and Jerry; and his siblings-in-law, Ken, Marilyn Postma, Bruce and Carol DeClark.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Highland Hills Baptist Church (1415 Northrup Ave NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
