He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Peter Zietse and Alice Zietse; his wife Evelyn; his children, Mark (Pam Zietse), Mike (Martha Zietse), Tim (Tami Zietse), Mary (Mike Stout), Matthew, Samantha, Martin Stout and Krystal Brown; his great grandchildren, Evelynne, Willow and Micah; his sister Janet Hondred; and his sister-in-law Jeanette Eikelberg.
