He was predeceased by: his wife Wilma; his daughter Linnea Veltema; and his grandson Caleb Storteboom. He is survived by: his children, Richard Veltema, Mary Veltema, Jo Anne (Chuck Rowe), Sandy (Jim Jager) and Trudy (Jim Storteboom); his grandchildren, A. J. Jager, Tricia, Calvin VanKoevering, Staci, Jeremy Clawson, Erika, Tyler VanderMeulen, Autumn Storteboom, Alexis, Spencer Smith, Andrew, Kortney Storteboom and Elizabeth Storteboom; his sister Esther Rozeveld; and his sister-in-law Emily Veltema. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
