She was predeceased by: her husband Wade B Griffis; her brother Alfred; her sisters-in-law, Barbara Seffernick, Sue Seffernick, Betty Seffernick and Linda Seffernick; her parents, Alfred Seffernick and Myrtle Seffernick; and her friend Luc Thompson.
She is survived by: her children, Patrick Griffis, Heather and Brandon Terrill; her grandchildren, Alexander Terrill, Zipan Liao and Helen Griffis; her siblings, Lewis Seffernick, Joseph Seffernick, Michael (Kathleen Seffernick), Stephen Seffernick, Dennis (Janice Seffernick), Beckie (Steve Vaniman), Mary Ann (Tony Romaker) and Thomas (Sharon Seffernick); and her siblings-in-law, Paula, David Alderfer, Hugh and Anita Griffis. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (4145 Chicago Dr SW, Grandville, MI 49418). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
