Clemons, Timothy Alan 9/13/1966 - 10/18/2017 Jenison Timothy Alan Clemons, age 51, of Jenison, MI, died Wednesday, October 18, 2017. Tim was a hard worker from an early age. He was always striving to improve himself. Tim held many jobs throughout his life. He worked in the heating and cooling field for many years; Johnstone Supply and delivered medical supplies. He was a trust worthy, reliable, "willing to go the extra mile" type of employee. Tim was so proud of his latest venture - fulfilling a life long dream of driving his own truck. He bought a large transport van and began "Mile bye Mile Transport" on January 1, 2016. He and Joan set out on the adventure of a lifetime. They were able to see so many beautiful and unique places in the United States. Tim could be a quiet, thoughtful man. He had excellent advice to share with others, if asked. Tim loved to go camping and fishing in the Boundary Waters in northern MN. He enjoyed antiquing, garage sales, nurturing plants, working out in the yard and following politics. Tim was so proud of his children, loved them deeply and prayed for them daily. He will be missed by many and especially by his family. Tim is survived by his wife Joan; his parents, Rev. Daniel and Ellen Clemons; mother, Barbara Breen Wegener; son, Kevin Alan Clemons; step-children, Laura Carlson, Cassie (Jared) DeVries, Collin Boer, Calla (Austin) Gilman; grandchildren, Lena, Nora and Luke; sister, Sheri (Mike) Hobbs; father-in-law Raymond Veenstra; grandfather, Elwyn Wellfare; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, sisters and brothers in laws. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Floyd and Sadie Clemons; Martha Wellfare and Ray Breen. A celebration of Tim's life will be held on November 4, 2017; St. John Lutheran Church, 9628 - 48th Avenue, Jenison, MI; Rev. Timothy Verity officiating; visitation at 10 a.m.; worship at 11 a.m.; followed by fellowship and a light luncheon.
