He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Grace Arizmendi Thompson; his adoptive father Conrad Thompson; his grandparents, Antonia, Delores Arizmendi of Uvalde, Mildred and Archel Thompson of Johannesburg, Michigan.; his siblings, Conrad "Chuck" Thompson, Tony Thompson, Scott Thompson, Sue Ann Thompson and Jean Ann Thompson; his wife Annette Thompson; his children, Hal Thompson (Stephanie) of New Braunfels, TX and Katherine Rooke (Ted) of Greenville, SC.; his grandchildren, Darcy Thompson (Ryan) of Aurora, CO, Grady Thompson (Natalie) of Queensland, Levi Thompson of Eugene, OR, Max Irwin (Sam) of Harrisonburg, VA and Acelyne Thompson of New Braunfels, TX; his great grandchild Theodore "Teddy" Thompson of Australia; his sisters, Donna Mauldin (Phillip) of Hallsville, TX and Jacqueline Thompson of Springtown, TX; and his brother-in-law David Franklin of Goodview, VA.. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.
