It is with sadness that the passing of Charles E. Anson of Jonesville, Michigan is shared. Charles, born on August 1, 1937, passed away on September 30, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Anson and Marie Anson (Kane); his former wife Barbara Anson (McKibbin); his daughter Dena Hughes (Carmen); his granddaughter Melody Parker (Sam); and his siblings, Thelma Rogers, Frank Anson and Elsie Kline.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy Lewis; his daughters, Debra Anderson (Randy), Kay Hewlett (Walter) and Lisa Balko (Mark); his grandchildren, Daniel Dubois (Diana), Denise Dubois, Barbara Symanski (Eric), Saundra Lester (Will) and Tyler Balko (Mariah); and his sisters, Mary Sanford and Alberta Truax (Paul). He is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Eagle Funeral Home (109 East St, Jonesville, MI 49250).

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Arbor Day Foundation, Arbor Hospice, or the American Cancer Society.
