She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Hotchkiss and Vera Hotchkiss (Pressler); her husband James "Jim" Magda; and her sister Betty Bennett. She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Magda of Commerce, Patrick Magda of Story and Kevin Magda (Cindy) of Jonesville; her grandchildren, Eric Erdos (Kelsey), Kari Sharp (Jeff), Aaron Erdos (Jackie), Ryan Magda and Courtney Magda; her great grandchildren, Sophie, Addy, Everett, Evelyn and Wyatt; and her brother Ronald Hotchkiss (Irene) of Jonesville.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jonesville Chapel (109 East St, Jonesville, MI 49250). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Anthony Catholic Church (11 N Broad St, Hillsdale, MI 49242).
