He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Pickell and Lea Pickell (Lytle); his son Joseph Pickell; and his brothers, Harold and James Pickell.
He is survived by: his wife Elva Aguirre; his children, Michael (Jeannette), Brigette LaValle, Autum Pickell-Terryah and Tiffney Little (Michael); his sister Mary Groomes (Kelly); and his grandchildren, Tamara, Evan, Annaleigha, Aiden, Amelia, Tashia, Kyleigh, Joseph and Olivia.
