He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Zimmer and Alma Zimmer (Schoenborn); his wife Sheila Rhodes; his brothers, Carl Zimmer (Edith), Fred Zimmer (Patricia) and Jack Zimmer; and his brother-in-law Ken DeCann.
He is survived by: his children, Katrina Bowers (Craig) of Jonesville and Nicholas Zimmer (Maryury Gomez) of Honduras; his grandchildren, Ivanna and Matthew; his sister Evelyn DeCann; and his sister-in-law Nancy Zimmer.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society or the Henry Ford Hospice Home in Jackson.
