He was predeceased by: his parents, Traian Penza and Olive Penza; and his sister Shirley Clark (Forrest). He is survived by: his wife Judy Penza (McManus); his children, Tammy Spicer (Gary) and Todd Penza (Christy); his brother Wesley Penza (Diana); and his grandchildren, Josh Wells (Sarah), Cora Boyce (Ryan), Nichole Lauterbauch (Travis), Travis Penza (Leandra), Aaron Spicer (Nicole), Nikki Spicer, Jessica Mills (Jake) and Brinae Bain (Emmett). He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hampton Funeral Homes - Hanover (221 Main St, Hanover, MI 49241). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the New Hope United Methodist Church (Formerly Hillside United Methodist Church) (6100 Folks Rd, Horton, MI 49246).
