With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James L. Zimmerman Sr. (Kalamazoo, Michigan), born in Three Rivers, Michigan, who passed away on August 10, 2019 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Amos Zimmerman and Edna Zimmerman; his wife Sandra Lou; and his sister Doris Watson. He is survived by: his sons, James L. Zimmerman, Jr. of Portage and Edwin "Ed" J. Zimmerman (Cathy) of Portage; his nephew Jeff Watson; his grandchildren, Scott Zimmerman, Jeffrey Zimmerman (Rebecca), Nicole Devine (Sean), Danielle Buck (Justin), Isobelle, Kynlee Zimmerman and Henry Buck; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Tristan, Lola and Calen Buck; and also, Fiona and Bridgett Devine.
The family asks that Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or SPCA of Southwest Michigan, c/o the funeral home.
