She was predeceased by : her parents, William E. Edmiston and Lela Edmiston (Bailey); and her brothers, William R. Edmiston and Dennis K. Edmiston. She is survived by : her children, Brian L. Boedeker (Penny) and Brooke K. Wilson; her grandchildren, Faith Wallace (Jacob) of Godfrey, IL, Paige Lee Boedeker of Godfrey, IL, Kaitlyn Boedeker of Godfrey, IL, Macy Wilson of Godfrey, IL and Kate Lee Wilson of Godfrey, IL; her sisters, Patricia Prose of Scottsdale, AZ and Tamara E. Nichols (Dave) of Birmingham, AL; her niece Kelly Alexander (Josh) of Fayetteville, AR; and her nephew Spencer William (Nichols).

In honor of Karen's granddaughter, Kaitlyn's condition of Hydrocephalus, memorial contributions may be made to the Hydrocephalus Association (donate online at: https://secure2.convio.net).
