Mark Frederick Schwartzlander passed away peacefully, after a prolonged illness, at age 66 at Life Care Center of Plainwell with loving family alongside him. Mark grew up in Kingsley, Michigan. During his youth, he was locally well-known as quite an outstanding athlete. As an adult, he was a meticulous tradesman. Later in life, whether by train or by foot, Mark explored many places in the U.S. and found much peace in his adventurous travels. Mark was preceded in death by his mother Marilyn (Hall) Sensenbaugh, his father Fred F. Schwartzlander, Jr., his grandparents, and many aunts and uncles. Mark is survived by his loving sister Marcy J. Ketcham, his nieces Anna Mobley, Catie Campeau and Elizabeth Fay, and their children Ezra, Terje, Jace, Coral and Lenix, along with his aunts, MaryAnne Sommer and Pat Dehmel-Perkins, many cousins and other relatives.
