Patricia Whalen CSJ Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Patricia Whalen CSJ (Kalamazoo, Michigan), born in Highland Park, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 2, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Patricia shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Patricia farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Raymond Whalen and Cecilia Ptak Whalen (Bird); her siblings, Pat (Patricia) and Michael (Theresa); and her siblings' children, Jenny (Brian) and Patrick.
A rosary will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Nazareth Center Chapel (2929 Nazareth Rd, Kalamazoo, MI 49048). A Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Funeral Services and Mass.
