With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roy Spencer (Kalamazoo, Michigan), who passed away on January 26, 2019 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, R. C. and Katie; his aunt Annie Mae Jones; his mother-in-law Gerry Collins; his sisters, Kathuryn and Mary; his niece Kemba Collins; and his cousin Floyd Glass, Jr..
He is survived by: his significant others, Ellen Elizabeth Collins and Ellen Spencer; his children, Khalilah Spencer of West Bloomfield, MI and Roy Calvin "Boomer" Spencer, III (Courtney) of Flowerfield Township, MI; his grandchildren, Vincent, Aeris, Evelynn and Iliana; his sibling Michael Spencer of Kalamazoo, MI; his siblings-in-law, Roberta Collins-Angba, April Collins and Edwin Collins; his uncle John Hampton; and his sibling's children, Khari, James, Cheia, Michael, Kenneth, Curtis, Marcus, Bobby, Tuzhi, Emmanuel and Ang. He is also survived by great-nephews, great-nieces, cousins and friends.
