He was predeceased by: his parents, James Kuuttila and Sandra Kuuttila (Bufka); his stepdaughter Nina Howes; and his aunts and uncles, George Adams, Jon Kuuttila, Mary Jo Bufka and Kathleen Brooks (Kuuttila).
He is survived by: his siblings, Alan Kuuttila (Kim) of Nevada, Alin Kuuttila of Kaleva, Andrew Kuuttila (Val Janowski) of Kalamazoo and Adam Kuuttila of Kalkaska; his stepson Dustin Kuuttila of Spokane, Washington; his aunt Beth Adams of Manistee; his uncle Dale Bufka of Battle Creek; his nephews, A. J., Alex, Cody, Kyle Kuuttila and Jacob Campbell; his niece Shelby Kuuttila; and his friend Lynda McDonald of Kaleva. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
