He is survived by : his mother Margaret Sabins; his stepdaughter Brandy (Gary Edinger); his siblings, Mary Scobey (late Doug), Ken Sabins (Jan) and Jeff Sabins (Collette); his nieces and nephews, Josh, Christal (Marshall), Jen (Logan), Jenny Sammy (Marcel), Rob (Kim), Cody Dusty (Ariel), Breanna (Jake), Mikayla (Nic), John (Lori) and Maggie; and his sister-in-law Karol. He is also survived by many aunts, and uncles, and Cousins.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church (438 Co Rd 612, Kalkaska, MI 49646). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
