She was predeceased by: her parents, David E. Young and Amelia Young; her siblings, Patricia Lorian, Christina Young and David A. Young; her brother-in-law Mel (Sue Waite); and her son-in-law Scott Day.
She is survived by: her husband Thomas Waite; her children, Kristin Day (Kerry Scarborough), Vicki LaLonde, Wendy Thompson (Glenn), Karen Zanger and William Zanger (Celeste); her grandchildren, Courtney (Allison), Conner (Katelyn), Colby (Jonah), Travis, Rachel (Anthony), Sam, Maya, Kayla (Michael), Taylor (Jacob), Natalie, Miles and Katherine; her brothers-in-law, Dick (Deb) and Jerry Waite; and her close friend Diana Needham. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Ceta Hall (6615 County Rd 612 NE, Kalkaska, MI 49646).
