He is survived by: his former wife Connie Armstead of Grand Ledge; his children, Jack Edward Barron, Roy Erwin Barron, Nora Ann Barron and Donald Alan Barron; his grandchildren, Karoline, Viola, James Barron, Emily Tracey, Harley Angel and Jay Barron-Magby; and his siblings, James Barron, William Barron, Sherry Dowe and Jackalyn Barron.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Wolfe-O'Neill Funeral Home (106 S Cherry St, Kalkaska, MI 49646). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
