He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Mapes and Theresa Wilson; his sisters, Becky Mapes (Jeff Johnston), Lori Zammit (Dan Zammit) and Kathy Henderson (Eddie Henderson); his siblings' children, Brandy Mapes, Ashley Nieman (Nick Nieman), Dan Mapes, Jacob Henderson and Zachary Henderson; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Alexis Mapes, Elaine Bowman, Leland Bowman, Levon Bowman and Maddilynn Henderson.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Kalkaska Baptist Church.
